A prayer for our students . . .
Gracious God, ever-flowing fount of blessings,
Creator of all good things, we give you thanks.
For our students . . . each one created in your blessed image,
each one reflecting your divine beauty,
each one love and cherished by their eternal Father.

Grant them peace, that they may know your love for them,
that they may glad in the knowledge that you created them good,
and that you love them more than they could ever know.

A prayer for teachers . . .
For us, their teachers,
each one tasked with the cultivation of their minds,
each one sent on your mission of love,
each one supported by your infinite grace,
Grant us virtue, that we may lead by example,
that we may teach with respect and grace,
that we may follow you at every moment, in our work, in our leisure, and in our entire lives.
And grant us love, that every lesson we teach may be taught with care and gentleness,
that in every moment we may share the love you gave the world,
that you showed in the Passion of your Son.
All this we ask through the intercession of your saints,
especially through the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of all saints and
St. John Baptist de La Salle, patron of teachers. Amen
