As you read in the latest Orantes, there is a new translation of the RCIA (now OCIA) ritual text. The ORE and OFDW are in the process of revising our diocesan guidelines, “Journey in Faith.” This is a wonderful opportunity for us to review the process in light of our experiences over the last 30+ years here in the Diocese. Look for more information and training opportunities in the coming months.

CGS Summer Book Club
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
A new edition of Gianna Gobbi's book, Nurturing the Whole Child, has recently been released. This is one of our primary sources for Level I training. Our virtual book club will focus on this new edition. The book club will be held on Tuesdays, beginning August 6th from 7 - 8pm via Zoom. The cost to join the book club is $15. Copies of the book can be purchased through Amazon.
There is no need to be CGS certified or trained to join the book club--All are welcome!
Circle of Grace – We are in the process of reviewing the Safe Environment/Circle of Grace reports and will be sharing your insights and giving you feedback soon. Now would be a good time to explore the Circle of Grace website which includes the revised curriculum in English and Spanish.
