It is with deep sadness that we share the news that two of our retired DREs have recently passed away. Please keep them and their families in your prayers.
Evelyn LaDuke
Although Evelyn had several degrees in the field of chemistry and put her skills to use in various positions in this field, she eventually became the Director of Religious Education at St. Mary Parish in Grafton serving for many years. She did not rest after her retirement and remained active as both a part-time teacher and religious educator on Cape Cod. Her services were held earlier in the month. Simone Caron
Simone had a lifelong commitment to education and spirituality. She dedicated her life to teaching and worked tirelessly to educate her students in the sacramental process of Holy Communion, Reconciliation, and Confirmation. Simone also fostered her catchists and encouraged them to further their knowledge of the faith. She retired from her position as the Director of Religious Education at St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish, Upton in 2023. Funeral services will be held next week at St. Gabriel in Upton.
