In Memoriam

It is with deep sadness that we share the news that Sr. Theresa Rose Carchidi, one of our retired DREs has recently passed away. Please keep her and her family in your prayers.

Sr. Teresa Rose Carchidi MPV

Sr. Teresa, 99 passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025. After many years serving as teacher and principal in various schools, she entered parish ministry serving as the Director of Religious Education at St. Anthony, Fitchburg and St. Catherine of Sweden, Worcester and later became a Pastoral Associate for other parishes in the diocese. She was elected Provincial of the United States before retiring in 2020.

Services will be held this weekend--April 4 & 5. Please visit Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel for more information.
